** in fact, there are so many apps for note taking. Goodnote is quite good as well. Find one that works for your needs. I prefer to freehand my notes during class because its faster than typing and i don't like switching back and forth from freehand to keyboard. **
Upad is cleaner and easier to use. More responsive too and less buggy. It allows you to write zoomed in, so it looks crisp and clean on the page (notebook paper looking). A lot of these apps are getting better and better with updates, keep your eyes peeled on the appstore.
You can draw pictures, insert pictures (incase you want to take pictures of the powerpoint slides ;) WINK!) type text or write text freehand, and it will transcribe it into text, or you can keep your original handwriting. Just check it out. Its $5 and you can send the notes straight to your email or sync it with Dropbox automatically, which is sweet so you can access your notes anytime anywhere.
